100 Days of Makeup Challenge: Take 2

So I feel like I haven’t really taken any effort to improve my blog, YouTube channel, ย or social media accounts so far in the year of 2017, and we are in May now. Also, I wanted to do the things that I wanted to do at the beginning of the year, and doing the 100 Days of Makeup Challenge was one of my goals for the year, and I thought now would be a good time to do that. Also it’s a great way to try new things and put my name out there.

Lately, I’ve been wanting to do more and be more creative, and just to challenge myself, and I’m hoping that this will do just that. I just hope that I can actually accomplish it this time around.

Anyway, here is my look for Day 1. I did post it on my Instagram, which is on the right, you should totally go check it out. But here it is and below, I’ll list the products I used.

Playing With SFX Makeup

Last week I took it upon myself to order some SFX makeup supplies because I have just been interested in going a little more above and beyond with makeup looks. The deadline to submit entries for the 2017 Nyx Face Awards is quickly approaching and I made it one of my goals for this year just to enter. But when I enter, I want my entry to be my best tutorial yet, and expanding my knowledge of makeup should help, right?

Anyway I bought some Graftobian liquid latex and Graftobian blood paste, and I wanted to create a wound. I looked it up online and tried to follow the steps, and it didn’t turn out too horrible for my first try. But I think I learned from it, and I can’t wait to play around with it again, and maybe even invest in some more supplies once I can fit it into my budget. Here is the finished product.

Again, it was just my first try, and I’m excited to play with it more and get better at it. Thanks for reading!

Ariana Grande Inspired… Again

Alright here is another Ariana Grande inspired look, and it certainly won’t be the last because she inspires me all the time. Anyway at the concert, her opening number was “Be Alright” from her album Dangerous Woman. Well they had a huge screen showing little video clips of the dancers and close up shotsย of her, and I absolutely loved her makeup, even though it was in black and white. But that didn’t stop me from attempting to recreate the look, or at least create my own version of it. I’m only focusing it on my eyes though, it something a little different for me and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Here are the products I used:

Crease/Transition: Morphe 35F Palette, bottom row, leftmost 2 shades, and Chestnut from Kylie Cosmetics 2016 Holiday Palette.

Lid: Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette shade Stark

Liner: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, Urban Decay Glitter liner in Midnight Cowboy and Urban Decay Liquid Moondust shadow in Chem Trail

Waterline: Nyx Cosmetics Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara

Let me know if you want to see more Ariana Grande inspired looks, or looks inspired by anyone else! Also let me know if you want to see a tutorial on my YouTube channel or Instagram on this look! Thank you so much for reading!

GRWM Not Going Up?

So I have gotten done with the editing of the Get Ready With Me for the Ariana Grande concert I recently went to. I absolutely love the look I created, however, I realized while editing that I was all over the place and it was all just a hot mess with stuff going on in the background and my battery dying throughout the process of getting ready. At this point, I’m not satisfied with the quality of the video and I wouldn’t be happy uploading it onto my channel. If you still would like to see it, maybe I’d post it but I don’t plan on it right now. But I want to share some photos on here of my look as well as the products I used.

Products used:

Lid: Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in the shade, Lovely

Transition: Kylie Cosmetics 2016 Holiday Palette, shades Sugar Cookie and Chestnut

Crease: Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette shade Brick

Outer Corner: Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette shade Almond

Eyeliner: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara

Rhinestone I purchased in a little set from Michaels for $2 or $3

I might post some more pictures from my phone later, but thank you for reading!

Sneaky Peek of an Upcoming GRWM

I know, I have been gone for a while, but now that I’m feeling better after that stupid virus I got that lasted almost the entire month of February, and my jam-packed schedule. I am in the process of editing a Get Ready With Me video that I just filmed but in case you don’t follow me on Instagram (Which you totally should be by the way. It’s linked on the right) here is a little sneak peek….

Thanks for reading and it’s good to be back!

Sick…. AGAIN!

Sorry all for being MIA, guess who got sick again? At least when I was sick last month, it was just a cold, and it went away pretty quick. This time I got a virus and it has lasted 10 days now, and it has just been kicking my butt, and unfortunately there’s only so much you can do to treat it. I’m feeling better now than I have throughout the week but I’m still not quite feeling my normal self. I still have a really bad sore throat that has not gotten better at all whatsoever, and a cough, but I have a little more energy now. The past 5 days, I spent in bed in pain with a fever ranging from 100 to 103 degrees Fahrenheit.

But enough talk about being sick, I just wanted you all to know why I haven’t posted. Also right before I got sick, I took a small trip to Disneyland so expect a travel log as well as a Valentines Day makeup tutorial coming up on my YouTube Channel. Once I feel even more better and get some more energy, I’ll get back into a regular schedule of posting. Again, I’m sorry for being gone, thank you all for your patience. Thanks for reading!
