Decluttering Highlighters/Highlighter Collection

Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a great day, sorry for the lack of posts this week. Today I wanted to declutter my highlighters, but I realized after going through them that there wasn’t really any of them that I wanted to get rid of, so instead, here is my highlighter collection.

I know, not too many, but definitely more than enough for one face. Sorry for the super short post, I’m trying to work in a solid posting schedule, but it will happen. Comment your favorite highlighter! Thank you so much for reading!

Tarte Shape Tape Foundation Review

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I have an exciting review for today, or at least I’m excited about it. I was finally able to get my hands on the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation, the hydrating formula. I swatched them in the store, and I felt that the matte one was patchy, and the hydrating one just kind of blended in with my skin, so it was a no brainer. I was able to try it out for real, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.

As for my first impression I like it. When I first applied it on my face, it blended in so nicely with my skin. I wouldn’t say its completely full coverage, it’s more of an in between of a medium and full coverage, if there’s a such thing. It feels almost the same as the concealer, even though the applicators are very similar, I can feel that there is more product with the foundation. However, I would love to test the foundation against the concealer alone.

For the foundation itself, it feels really nice on my skin. Maybe its in combination with using a good moisturizer but my skin literally felt hydrated the entire day. And I didn’t really notice it fading much. The only places that it faded that I could notice were around my mouth, below my nose.

If I’m going to be completely honest, I’ve only applied it with a brush, I haven’t tested it out with any makeup sponges, I’m not sure if that would make a difference. But as for my final thoughts, I really like this Foundation, I’ve been using it everyday , it hasn’t let me down yet. I’m not telling you to go out and spend your money on this Foundation, but if I were to recommend one, this is one I would recommend especially if you have dry skin or are looking for a Foundation that will give you a dewy look. I hope you all enjoyed and thank you so much for reading!

Declutter With Me: Bronzers

Hello everyone, I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday. Today I have another declutter post for you all and I will be decluttering my bronzers. Luckily I don’t have too many, but I think I will mainly be getting rid of my non cruelty free products and very old ones.

The ones on top are the ones I will be getting rid of, and the ones on the bottom will be the ones I will be keeping. I noticed a few of these, I only have used a couple of times, but I’ll probably go back and get rid of the ones, I will most likely never use.

That is it for this delcuttering post, sorry it was so short and sweet. I hope you all enjoyed, and thank you for reading!

Another Ulta Haul

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a fabulous day, I recently took a trip to my nearest Ulta because I found somethingΒ  that I have been wanting for a while there, and I can’t wait to try it out and share my thoughts about it with you. But to keep you all in suspense, I’ll share some other things I picked up.

First, I went through the Nyx aisle, it was so tough, so much I wanted to pick up, but sadly I had to limit myself. First this eyeliner popped out at me. On the box, it had a similar look as the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, and I know I recently tried out the Too Faced Sketch Marker, but I thought this one would be worth a try and who knows, it could be a dupe for it. I don’t know, we’ll see.

Next from Nyx I picked up the Vivid Brights Creme Colour. I have seen this before, but never actually took the initiative to buy it and try it. I can try and use it for Valentine’s Day look, but who knows maybe even a festival look or maybe I can try to use it somehow when I put in a submission for the Nyx Face Awards.

Next I found something that I wasn’t super sure about at first. I think it’s limited edition which is kind of unfortunate, but oh well I guess. If I’m going to be honest, if it wasn’t on sale I wouldn’t have gotten it, but it is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette. I’ve actually never tried any of their eyeshadows, so maybe I’ll share my thoughts with you.

I had to also pick up one of the Tarte Shape Tape Concealers, I picked up the one in Light Neutral, unfortunately they didn’t have the other one I wanted, but that’s okay, maybe next time.

Lastly, the product I am most excited about is the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation! I absolutely cannot wait to try this out and review it for you all. I got the hydrating formula, I swatched the two in the store and based off the swatch, I could tell that the matte one was really dry and almost patchy. But I actually might go back and pick it up anyway. But look out for a review and other comparison posts!

That is it for this Ulta Haul. I hope you look forward to the future review posts like I am. Thank you so much for reading!

Declutter With Me: Foundations

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. Here is another decluttering post for you all, today I am decluttering my foundations.

I do have quite a bit of foundations, a lot are old, non cruelty free, and some aren’t even my shade, so it is clearly time for a little clean out.

Here I just organized the foundations I’ll be keeping, from the ones I’ll be getting rid of, the ones on top are the ones I’m leaving, and the ones on the bottom, I’m leaving.

Its funny, I showed all the ones I’m getting rid of to my mom, and she ended up taking them all and added them to her collection. She actually did that with a good portion of the makeup I decided to get rid of.

That is it for this installment of my Declutter With Me Series. I don’t want to make any promises, but I’m trying to post everyday. I’m set for a while, and these decluttering posts really help me out with that. So I am aiming to post a decluttering post every other day, or at least every other post. I’m not sure, we’ll see, I just hope you look forward to all of these like I am. Thank you so much for reading!

Too Faced Sketch Marker vs. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great day! I took the time to test out the Sketch Marker from Too Faced and I will be putting it up against the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. As you all know, the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner is my all time favorite eyeliner, however it isn’t always so easily accessible to me, the nearest Sephora to me is about 25 minutes away and I don’t always have the time to make the drive to go get it. But I have heard great things about other comparable eyeliners, and I thought I would try them out for myself.

I will start off by saying it is very similar to the Kat Von D Tattoo liner but not exactly the same. They look the same, they even apply almost the same as well. They both have a brush applicator and apply easily. I noticed with the Too Faced one, you have to really work with it when applying metallic shadows. Its almost as if those metallic eyeshadows are so metallic that it will show through the eyeliner. I have noticed this a couple of times with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, but maybe once or twice throughout the 2 years I have used it. They both are just fine when applied with matte shadows.

It is very long lasting, which I like, and from what I have noticed, it seems to live up to its waterproof formula. However, there were multiple instances where the eyeliner would run up my eyelid to my brow, very subtle, noticeable but not unless you were up close. But I can’t really figure out when it runs, because it wouldn’t run with water or sweat, just sometimes it would randomly run, and it would be minutes after application.

As for my final thoughts, it is an okay eyeliner, it does the job, but if I had to choose between the two, I would hands down choose the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. The Too Faced one is a nice alternative if you don’t have easy access to a store like Sephora that carries Kat Von D products. Thank you so much for reading!

Declutter With Me: Concealers

Hello everybody, I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Today I wanted to continue on with my Declutter With Me series! I know I previously shared with you decluttering my eyeshelf, which included primers, eyeliners, and mascaras. I do have 3 shelves in my room that’s for makeup, eyes, face, and then bronzers, blushes and highlighters. I was going to do the whole shelf, but I think I’m just going to focus on one type of product, and just include more of these posts. Today’s post will be on concealers.

I don’t have a lot of concealers, but as you can see even my small amount can look super unorganized. But I then organized them into what I am keeping and what I am getting rid of. The ones I am getting rid of, either I ran out of product, or because they are not cruelty free.

These are the ones I am keeping.

Sorry this post is kind of on the short side, but coming from a reader’s standpoint, I feel like it would be better to read a lot of shorter, easier to read posts, than a couple really long posts. I don’t know, maybe that’s just me though. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, thank you so much for reading!
