Black Friday Haul Part 2: Sand Cloud and Pura Vida Bracelets

I know its been long awaited but Part 2 of Black Friday Haul is finally here! I did some online shopping at Sand Cloud and Pura Vida Bracelets and took advantage of the deals I got. Both sites were 50% off EVERYTHING! Here are the things that I got!

We’ll start with Pura Vida Bracelets.

As for bracelets, I got a seafoam braided one, a seafoam with a wave charm, black platinum and then a mental health awareness and a depression awareness bracelets. I cannot wait to keep adding more to my collection. Yes I’d say a lot of the bracelets may look easily DIYable and maybe even a little young, like preteen and teenage young, but I personally still love them and everything the company stands for.

I got a lot of rings, I don’t really remember the exact names so please bare with me. I got quite a few chevron ones and then an opposing triangle, bow and arrow, celestial and a pearl one.

Now for Sand Cloud.

I got three T shirts, first one I got was the wanderlust long sleeve, which is just a nice rainbow tye dye. I think this would have to be my favorite one I got.

The next one I got was a pink acid wash long sleeve tee. I love the color, one of my favorite colors to wear!IMG_1627.JPG

The last one I got was a nice burgundy long sleeve with Christmas colored marine life animals on the back, perfect for Christmas.

The last thing I got from Sand Cloud was this Coral Oasis Blanket, it is huge and just super cozy. I have felt it but haven’t even used it yet, and I already love it.

That completes my haul from Black Friday, I hope you enjoyed. You should definitely check out these amazing companies if you haven’t already. I do have coupon codes so you can save money! Use “ALLICEN25” at and “ALLICEN20” at Thank you so much for reading!

2017 Black Friday Haul…… Part 1

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving if you celebrate it! I love spending time with my family and then attempting to get Christmas shopping done the next day. And I mean that, attempting, but then somehow it just turns into a shopping spree for myself, I imagine many of you can relate. Anyway I did some shopping and I wanted to share with you what I got. This is just Part 1, I have some online shopping I did as well. I would share what I got for others for Christmas gifts but I didn’t want to risk spoiling it for them so I’m just sharing what I got for myself.

First place I went to was Ulta, and they didn’t have amazing deals but I have been wanting to try more from the brand Makeup Revolution, which they carry there, and so I thought I’d take advantage of the Buy One, Get One 50% off deal.

So first thing I got was this Blurring Primer. I’ve been needing a new primer, and I have heard of “Blurring” but have never tried one myself, so I figured I would try it out and see if it actually works.

I have been in love with holographic stuff in general, and honestly this highlighter looks like its duochromatic if not holographic. It is around the same shade as the blanket I’m using as the background for this picture, so we’ll see if I am even able to wear it.

Something else that caught my eye was this Banana Powder. It really reminds me of the Banana Powder from Ben Nye Cosmetics. I’ve never tried it but I have always wanted to. I truly hate loose powders but I still thought I would give it a chance. I also wanted to try baking, because believe it or not, I have never tried baking.

The last Makeup Revolution product I picked up was the Liquid Highlighter in Champagne. I’m going to be honest, I wasn’t too impressed with the Starlight one I picked up in my last haul, but I still thought I would give this one more chance before officially deciding that I don’t like it.

The last thing I picked up from Ulta were these makeup removing wipes from Formula 10.0.6. My absolutely favorite makeup wipes are the Neutrogena ones, but as I stated in a couple posts back, I’m trying to transition going cruelty free, and I know that Formula 10.0.6 is cruelty free, and I wanted to test them out.

The next store I went to was Lush. I’m going to be honest, I’ve never really been crazy about Lush and their infamous bath bombs. Like yeah, they’re cool and all but I don’t see the big deal. Honestly I feel like I am constantly under stress from wherever it comes from, and if I took more baths, maybe it would be good and relaxing for me. So I picked up two bath bombs, the rocket science one and some sugar bear I think, I honestly can’t remember their names.

The other thing I picked up was this Cup O Coffee Face Mask I have been wanting to try for the longest time. I’m trying to transition into being cruelty free and unfortunately for me, most if not all the products I use aren’t cruelty free. Luckily Lush is and I wanted to try out their products to see if I can find a cruelty free option that works for me.

The next  place I went to was Victoria’s Secret because what is a Black Friday Haul without Victoria’s Secret? As much as I wanted to get the tote when you spend $75, there honestly just wasn’t much that I wanted that was worth spending money on, so I only picked up two things.

The first thing I picked up were the camping leggings that were on sale.

The next product I picked up really just stood out to me. I’m going to be honest, I have some big breasts and it makes shopping for bras incredibly difficult, especially when it comes to shopping for bathing suits and even clothes I want to wear but don’t want my bra showing. So I saw these lightly lined cups that are sticky, so it’s backless. I figured it would be nice to try these out and to have them on hand just in case.

The next place I went to was Q which is just a smaller and sometimes more affordable version of Forever 21. I most of these on sale, and I thought I would try and upgrade my regular T shirt wardrobe to something a little nicer.

First, I saw this lightly lined bralette. It looks like one I have from Victoria’s Secret but doesn’t break the bank.

Next I got this long sleeve floral dress/shirt. It looks long to be a shirt but a little short to be a dress. But I thought it would look great with a pair of leggings or maybe even a pair of skinny jeans.

The next thing I got was this striped dress. Its going to look great in the summer, but in the meantime, I thought it would look great over a white t shirt, since that 90s trend seems to be making a comeback and with a pair of leggings or tights.

I also picked up a pair of Christmas socks, because you can never have too many pairs of Christmas socks.

The last thing I picked up was this choker set. It comes with a black one and a denim one. I don’t have any chokers, and I just love the way they look.

The last place I went to was Charming Charlie and the only thing I got from here was this light pink velvet baseball cap.

This wraps up my in store shopping Black Friday Haul, and I will post my online one as soon as I get them in the mail. Thank you so much for reading!

Ulta, Forever 21, and CVS Haul!

Alright so this past weekend, I went to a few stores, and it was so tempting, I’m on a budget with things I’m trying to save up for and with Christmas coming up…. But I just couldn’t resist on some of these goodies. So here is a little mini haul for you all!

The first place I went to was CVS, and I only picked up 2 things, but I picked them up because I do have some makeup looks I want to create in the near future.

The first thing I have been eyeing for a while and now I finally have it is this white lipstick from Nyx Cosmetics. It would be awesome if it was a liquid but I can melt it if I have to. This is going to be perfect for some fun lip art looks!

The second thing I picked up was this colorful eyeshadow palette from Wet N Wild. I don’t have very many color shadows, and this will be perfect for some plans I have coming up in the future.

The next place I went to was Ulta. I told myself I was just going to look but who am I kidding? There is no such thing as just looking at Ulta.

The first thing I saw and I thought was a great deal was this unicorn set from Too Faced. This kit includes a Creme lipstick, liquid lipstick, a highlighter and a makeup bag all in iridescent colors giving me some serious unicorn vibes.

One thing I have been wanting to try out for so long are some liquid illuminators. I have been wanting to try the ones from Cover FX but I found a much more affordable one from Makeup Revolution. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try!

I have been really trying to invest in some good skincare products, but it isn’t always the easiest thing. I have heard of this brand before but never really heard any kind of review on any products from this brand. I decided to pick up this facial mist that can be used after moisturizing or even as a makeup setting spray and its from the brand Mario Badescu.

I also picked up some products that I have already tried in the past but seemed to have run out of. And those products are the White Matte Liquid Liner from Nyx Cosmetics, eos Raspberry Pomegranate Shaving Cream, and then just a pencil sharpener.

The last place I went to was Forever 21 and I only picked up a few things. The first thing I instantly fell in love was this striped long sleeve body suit. I’ve just really been into bodysuits lately and I love stripes, it’s screams me.

I also picked up this ring set. I’ve been fascinated with rings lately and I wanted to add some to my collection, and this was a great deal for about $7.

I love how Forever 21 has snacks and candy, I saw these airhead bites, and I figure I should pick some up while they were there.

That’s it for this little haul. If you think there’s any kind of product I should try out, please let me know I’m a comment. Thank you so much for reading!

Sand Cloud Review and Update!

Its been a hot minute since I’ve posted and I think it’s about time I update you on my review for Sand Cloud. Sand Cloud is company that sells towels and T shirts and accessories such as hats, water bottles, necklaces, and 10% of each purchase goes back to saving marine life. I’ve had the opportunity to try out these products on multiple occasions and here is how it went…

For the towel, its a nice fabric, that is perfect for lounging on. This isn’t the type of towel I would use to dry myself after swimming, but more to just sit on for a picnic or to just lay out and tan on. And the colorful tye dye pattern is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

As for the shirts, after a few washes they feel comfortable and not as boxy and stiff as when I first got them. I kid you not, I’ve been wearing these T-shirts as often as I can, and they’re so comfortable and cute shirts.

So after falling in love with the products I got, and loving what the company stands for, I have decided to become a brand ambassador! I haven’t posted anything on my Instagram yet, but I guess you can expect multiple Sand Cloud posts in the future. The best part is, I get a discount code that I get to share with all of you so you can save some money on your purchase. If you use my code: Allicen25 you can save 25% off your next purchase!

Sand Cloud First Impressions

Alright, I have another first impression post for a brand that has grown popular over the internet and that brand is called Sand Cloud. If you’ve never heard of it, Sand Cloud is a company that sells T-shirts, towels, stickers, water bottles, …. and I think that’s really it, but I think they have plans to expand their range of products in the fall. But anyway, they donate 10% of each sale and it goes right back to the ocean. Well not literally, but it goes back to organizations that help save marine life.

So now that we have a little idea of what the brand sells and what they stand for, I’m going to do a mini haul and give you my first impressions of these products.

I guess we’ll start with the towel. The towel I bought is the Wanderlust towel and it’s just a nice rainbow tye dye pattern. I’m not going to lie, when I first saw these towels on the website, just with the way they looked, the towels look like they’re just really thin, almost like a bedsheet. But as I opened it up in the mail and got a feel for it, literally, I found that it’s actually thicker than I thought it would be. If I were to compare it to anything, I’d say it’s almost like a good quality table cloth. This towel is definitely better than I thought it would be.

I also got some T-shirts, well one T-shirt and a tank top to be exact, but my first impression is the same for both of them. Now as far as the design, I think it looks really just colorful and perfect for the summer season. I especially like how on the tank top the logo is very visible and clearly stands out. It doesn’t stand out as much on the mint green shirt, but it all looks cute. As for the quality of the shirt, it’s not my favorite. I was really hoping that the shirts would be soft and just thinner, especially for the price you’re paying. However, it’s thick and almost stiff-like, but I think after a couple of washes, it’ll soften up.

Lastly, I ordered some of their stickers. I’m going to be honest, I was a little bit disappointed because I thought the stickers were going to be bigger, they just looked bigger on the product photo on the website, but I think maybe that’s because they zoomed in for it. Also, in my order, it said I was going to be getting 6 of those stickers, the ones that say “#Savethefishies.” However, I only got 4 of those, and got 4 of the other stickers that have the Sand Cloud logo on it. So yes, I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t get what I ordered, or at least what I thought I ordered, but I kind of got over it.

Now here is the funny part. If you have heard of Sand Cloud before, you’d know that they really advertise themselves and they have a brand ambassador program, in which I think they accept everyone. They give you a promo code, and you share that everywhere, the people that use your code get a discount and you get paid. However, I don’t believe you actually get paid in cash, but in store credit. Well anyway, I didn’t apply because I didn’t want to be an ambassador for something I didn’t believe in or didn’t completely love. But they sent me bracelets that they only send to their brand ambassadors, and they sent me a little card that said welcome to the brand ambassador program. I don’t think it’s official yet because I don’t have a code, but I just thought it was strange. I’ve thought about it, but I wanted to wait until I for sure knew I wanted to represent this brand.

So all in all, I was very pleased with the towel, I liked the stickers, and I liked the design for the shirts, but I need to wait a couple of washes to give you my full review on them. Thank you so much for reading!

Pura Vida Bracelets First Impressions

Hello all, I am back, and I am hoping that I’ll be staying back and actually post on this blog. I have just been so busy with a hectic work schedule that I have found it hard to even keep up with my 100 Day Makeup Challenge on Instagram. I have skipped a lot of days, including today, but I am making it my goal to finish it before October. After the challenge is over, I would like to include some fashion into my posts, as well as beauty. But until then, I will just start posting about it on here.

So with that being said, I decided to do a first impressions post on the brand, Pura Vida Bracelets. I have seen a lot of fashion and accessories brands come up on my Instagram feed and this company was one of them. I don’t know what it was, but it intrigued me.

Now for you that have not heard of this brand, Pura Vida Bracelets is a company from Costa Rica that sells different types of hand-made bracelets, and also sell some other cool things like necklaces, rings, anklets, towels, and more.

But what is awesome about this company is that 10% of each purchase goes back to help Costa Rican artisans find jobs. It’s just nice to know that a portion of the money made from sales is going to something that actually helps people. And something that’s even better is that they have some special bracelets that have a cause, and one dollar from the sale of that particular bracelet goes to charities for causes like saving the turtles, dolphins, breast cancer awareness, pancreatic cancer awareness, and so much more.

But here are items I bought:

The Solid White Bracelet.

The Rose Gold Sun Periwinkle Bracelet.

The Anxiety Disorder Awareness Bracelet.

The Lost at Sea Anklet.

The Silver Wave Ring.

And I’m going to be honest, I didn’t order/pay for this one but it was in my package, I don’t know if it was supposed to be a bonus or if it was an accident but I also got the Grapevine Bracelet.

Here are what the items look like on me:

So far I like them, no they’re not glamorous luxury bracelets, but for the price, I’d say the quality of them is pretty good. I’m not going to lie, you could probably make these at home with supplies from the craft store, but so far I think the quality of each product is consistent and unique. These products give me that young, beach girl vibe, which I like, I never wore jewelry like this when I was younger.

On the website, it says that these are waterproof and wax coated, making them more long-lasting, which I have yet to test.

So far, I do like these products but I will make sure to come back in a few days with a full review and I’ll tell you if I would buy these again. Thank you so much for reading!
